Daughter to Father

Dad:

So many people have tried to break me down and never in my life would I have thought that you would be the one to hurt me the most. You seriously broke my heart beyond measure and because of you it's sooo hard for me to express how I feel. I used to be daddy's little princess... you were my EVERYTHING i looked up to you and thought the VERY BEST of you. I would compare every guy I met to you (and you would always win)I always get asked why I hardly ever have a boyfriend and I would tell them because "i was too busy" or "i just didn't feel like having one" but in all reality it was because no guy ever came close to be as amazing as i thought you were. Now I have no excuse because you turned out to be like every other man in this world. If there is one thing that you have taught me is that no one will ever be there for the long hall, because when i needed your love and your guidance the most you left..
Just know that with or without you i will become the woman I've always said I would become. So when I become that woman.. don't take any of the credit... Because I did it all on my own.
